Glad you got yourself an edgeworthia @CharlieBot, stunning shrubs, had mine for 3 years now, keep it in a sheltered sunny to light dappled shade spot and it will be happy. Mine is in a very large pot and is roughly 4x4ft now and in full flower, amazing :)

I've been after an Olive tree for a while and as I'm regularly at various shops etc for my business I've seen a few but no really nice specimens that jumped out at me but today was different, got myself this one which stands at almost 4ft tall and has a nice round good sized head on it at 2ft across and the price was good too, happy days :)

Looks like a great specimen there Bilbo, are you going to repot it? it looks top heavy (wind) but I think they like their roots restricted.

the pink red at both ends and 90% the white in the middle if I don't like the pink/red at the ends I will move them and just leave the white

Decided to get one of these fellows today - things seem to be really slow to warm up, and I am now getting paranoid that I won't have anything to plant out come the start of summer if I don't get sowing shortly - - going to set this to 12ºC to kick an oil heater into life when the night temps drop - - hopefully it won't really be needed more than a couple of weeks, but its got to be better than running the heater 8-10 hours a night, regardless of temp.

Also got 20 x petunia frills and spills ordered from T&M (mail shot, 20 for £4.99 and a free £5 voucher), and 2 x hydrangea 'incrediball' (it was only £3 more to have two instead of one)

I treated myself to two new clematis today (Morrisons @ £1.79 each)
"Arabella" and "John Paul II" - hoping they will scramble up my "host" rose.

I was thinking about getting some of that stuff - how regularly would it need to be applied?

Well, I may have made a boo-boo. On the labels it states for position, "Any". I thought "Great!" the area I would like them to grow is in light shade (meaning, no direct sunlight, but open to the sky). I've just looked them up and it seems they are recommended for a sunny spot!
Never mind, at that price, I can afford to experiment with them and, hopefully, encourage them to enjoy the spot I have chosen for them. :fingers crossed:
