So it is - I work pretty much every day, so they all roll into one...

Anyway, work over and even a bit of gardening today, and now onto Bacardi

          Thank you Jenny :)

I have spent my garden time today in planning mode - there is string and wee sticks all round the grass as I am planning the shape for the new lawn (will try and post pictures later), I am pretty sure that I am going to halve the size of a shrub near the greenhouse (not a clue what it is, but I an not a fan, so its days could well be numbered - - that is semi-shaded so I thought the gooseberries could go there, and then the blackcurrants can go up the back next to the loganberry. I have a couple of roses in that bed too, which I want to move out of there, but they will have to wait until next year now.

Us gardeners are never totally happy, are we - there is always something to move or renew...

Oooh, I like your slate @mowgley - that Acer on the right stands out nicely against it - what colour slate is it?

Thanks @mowgley - I am wanting a couple of bags of slate for my current project, and I think that has just made my mind up on the colour. :)

We just visited the Honiston Slate mine In Cumbria And they had a large heap of off cuts.
You could fill your car boot for 20 quid..........
I picked out this interesting shard, it was so heavy.......solid slate and I had to cart it 300 miles.
Not quite sure what to do with it yet.

                            Wow! That is spectacular @roders!

What you need to do with it, is pop it in your car and deliver it to Ashford - there is a cuppa and a chocolate digestive in it for you
