I've bought the plants for my alpine trough; Supervivum Director Jacobs, Cotula Hispida, Dianthus Dinetta, Convolvulus, Chamaecyparis Rubicon and Saxifrage Arendsii Highlinder.

I also got a bag of John Innes No2, some horticultural grit and ornamental gravel and two Dahlias ( Rebecca's World and Bishop of Llandaff) and some alliums because I just couldn't resist. :)

Off to Costco later so will check if they've got any planters in because I usually love their ones. However, I must restrict myself to only a couple cos I must have bought a couple of dozen last year :gaah: Also need some compost so if they've got any in I'll nab some.

They have! I bought a couple of those like the ones you bought last year. I bought one last year too and was waiting for them to come back in stock. I bought them last Sunday. :blue thumb:

Thanks Fern. If they have the ones they had last year then it'll probably do my purse a favour cos I won't have to buy new ones :heehee:

Well I managed to restrict myself to just one of the barrel planters for an Acer Fireglow I bought last Autumn plus 2x 120L bags of Westland Compost with Gro Sure fertiliser for £5.99 each plus VAT. I usually get the B&Q stuff but I couldn't be bothered to go there as well.

These are the planters I bought from Asda the other day for £14 each. I bought a few of these last year but they were a different brown. Much prefer this colour.

Two packets of Mesembryanthemum Sparkles Mix (why do such wee plants have such a big name :heehee:

Three packets of Trailing petunia seeds

One pack of malope vulcan seeds

a bag of silver sand to help with seed sowing, and a cracker of a garden incinerator - never seen another one like it, for once its not just a glorified bin with holes punched in the sides.

EDIT - and looking at this thread, it looks like I will be visiting Wilkinson's later in the week :)
