It was the rare plant fair on Sunday and I bought this Arisaema speciosum to replace the ones that I have lost in the ground over the winter...........
                  DSC_1067.jpg

I had to go to the fair to collect a Deppea splendens which Charlie Pridham had kindly collected from a private grower and brought up from Cornwall for me...............
                  DSC_1066.jpg

This is where sods law kicks in. I grew Deppea splendens from seed a few years ago but the seedlings snuffed it when I went on holiday. So I got back from the fair and found a PM on another forum from a contact in California to say that he had just harvested me seed from his Deppea. Then I went into the garden and found two of the Arisaema that I'd thought dead had decided to make an appearance.

On the way back from the fair we stopped off at Lidl to grab some shopping - I grabbed this Tibouchina for £1.99 :hapydancsmil:

Got my palm from Morrisons in Beverley, (OH reckoned the car needed a run), but alas no hostas.

And today, I got a lovely plant of Euphorbia Glacier Blue from Homebase. I don't usually buy in there as their prices are alot more than Colletta and Tyson, but it was a beauty for £5.

I've never seen anything like it before and it even has the Lilac scent.

I'm gonna let it settle (getting the planter for it tomorrow), and then I'm gonna try taking cuttings. I'll let you know how I get on.

                                That's gorgeous @Anthony Rogers .

I've brought a few things the last few days. Desperatly trying to make the garden/patio more colourful whilst we're knee deep in house renovations.

These are from my local independant garden nursery, and are such good prices. 90p each for the Fuchsias, and bedding plants, the begonia was £1.50.

I brought these Fuchsias from my local Wyevale, in their reduced section. I wanted a white trailing variety for a new patio planter I brought with my birthday gift money.

Went to Aldi this morning, and as well as groceries, came home with this lovely chap.

The Acer may well be potted on in a larger pot for another year, as come the autumn, I'm relocating a garden border, and digging in a couple of new ones. All things being well that is! lol
