I went to my local garden nursery to by some slug repellent gel for my pots. I was accosted by these three, kept following me everywhere. So naturally, they had to come home with me. I hadn't the heart to leave them behind after they'd followed me so faithfully. IMG_0551.jpg IMG_0552.jpg IMG_0553.jpg

After visiting 3 garden centres, finally tracked down where I could get Bronze Fennel and came home with this little tray of mixed herbs :heehee:

          CIMG0042 (1024x766).jpg

          So:
          1 x sage
          3 x bronze fennel
          1 x orange thyme
          5 x lemon thyme
plus a large pot labelled simply "Thyme" and had to be bought as it was only £1

I seem to be having a 'thing' for Lupins at the moment. Hubby & I went to David Austin roses yesterday, and whilst I resisted buying a rose, or 5, I did however, visit their half price table. Three lupins all the same variety for the princely sum of, £5.25! They're all a good size, the only thing wrong with them that I could see were some broken stems. Then nipped into my local Wyvale on the way home and rescued this Aquilegia for the total of a £1.00 coin!

I'll be looking after these in the greenhouse before popping them outside in the spring next year. IMG_0640.jpg IMG_0638.jpg

We rarely buy any plants but people are always bringing plants to us to try and find them a good home.

This Brug is the latest gift.
