        Yep, I saw them, Gail, which is why I bought them from LIDL:doh:..........Morrisons were less than six month old plants and the LIDL's are an easy 2 year established plant.:dunno::snorky:

          I would never buy a £1 plant again. I do think though if you want a really good clem, spend a bit more and choose the right plant for your space.

            @ARMANDII Blame the other half as i didn't purchase them :snorky:...they flowered in the first year and since.... so i can't moan :thumbsup: mind you LIDL's do have some good offers on plants :love30:

            @Loki I can't moan at how mine have turned out, they're white and pink and well developed :)

              These are what I potted up /on the other day :).
              3x Astrantia Snow Star
              2X Hakonechloa aureola
              Hedychium Gardnerianum
              dahlia B of Oxford
              Dahlia Spider women
              Dahlia Art Deco
              3X Iris Supreme Sultan which I am a little bit disappointed with, thought the rhizomes would be bigger.

                Is there a clematis that’s grows in dappled shade? Could I use one to cover a water butt? As with everything else, it’s just a working theory at this stage.

                  Or maybe something evergreen. It would have to be compact and subtle so as not to detract from the main flower displays in front of it.

                        Had Bishop of Oxford last year Mark......a bargain from the local National Dahlia Collection. Had reservations at first.....dark foliage topped with yellow/orange flowers ....but it is a beauty. :)
