          I wanted to keep the polytunnel above freezing so had a look around for greenhouse heaters. Picked up a hotbox regal gold 4.2kW propane heater for £55. Used for a year and cost £250 when new. It had been on gumtree for three weeks. Not sure if it was the heat output or needed a mains supply for the gas valve and thermostat that put people off.

                    I bought 2 of these @ £5 each. This one I intend to put in a nice pot and move it about as the seasons dictate. The other one I am considering planting in the front garden. I have just the place for it as long as am able to rearrange the things that are already there.

                            It's going down by the Wildlife pond, longk, as it likes moist soil and partial shade so a spot in the Bog Garden might just be the right place for it. The pond is sheltered at the bottom of the garden and vary rarely freezes over so it should be hardy enough..........I'll let you know how it gets on.:coffee::snorky:
