Very nice, Bella..............it won't be long before they look like this..............
I know Muddying them up starts tomorrow!
Just bought 6 plants of Hesperantha in lots of 2 in three varieties. "Oregon Sunset" "Pink Princess" "Fenland Daybreak" Don't ask me where they're going to go
I wanted to keep the polytunnel above freezing so had a look around for greenhouse heaters. Picked up a hotbox regal gold 4.2kW propane heater for £55. Used for a year and cost £250 when new. It had been on gumtree for three weeks. Not sure if it was the heat output or needed a mains supply for the gas valve and thermostat that put people off.
Planning for Spring, I've bought Peony "Shirley Temple Peony Bartzella Also bought Monarda "Cambridge Scarlet" Monarda "Croftway Pink" Monarda "Fireball" Monarda "Prairie Night" Echinacea "White Meditation" Echinacia "Supreme Cantaloupe Echinacea "Meteor Yellow Echinacea "Firebird" and Dracunculus Vulgaris "Voodoo" Hurry up Spring
They look great @ARMANDII
Thanks, Logan. I'm hoping that they'll be as good as I'm imagining they will be!!!
I'm sure they'll be.
I bought 2 of these @ £5 each. This one I intend to put in a nice pot and move it about as the seasons dictate. The other one I am considering planting in the front garden. I have just the place for it as long as am able to rearrange the things that are already there. G.
All taking shape nicely Gary
I'm beginning to think the Spring buying impulse we gardeners get has arrived early.....just ordered........ Agapanthus "Twister" 3 plants Cirsium "Pink Blush" 3 plants Agapanthus "Black magic" 3 plants Titanotrichum Oldhamii 3 plants Monarda 3 plants "Grape Gumball" "Bubblegum Blast" "Pink Frosting" ........ Keep me away from Plant Catalogues and Plant Nurseries
Nice! Varying hardiness ratings abound so I'll be intrigued to see how that does for you.
It's going down by the Wildlife pond, longk, as it likes moist soil and partial shade so a spot in the Bog Garden might just be the right place for it. The pond is sheltered at the bottom of the garden and vary rarely freezes over so it should be hardy enough..........I'll let you know how it gets on.
I bought a kettle.
Going to have to buy a milk saucepan, the non stick isn't non stick any more on the old one.
