I bought a pack of 3 gardening gloves and 2 trowels last week. I keep losing my trowels, they vanish into thin air never to be seen again.

I was off work today and popped in to town to pick up a parcel from the Post Office. That was all I had to do but I came home with -

        30 7 cm plants pots
        weedkiller
        slow release fertiliser
        a Spiraea from B&M for £1

Oh, and the parcel contained plants ….. another agapanthus (Glenavon), 2 Salvia Amistad and a delosperma

            Most definitely lol

My border is virtually empty at the moment so that’s my excuse. All my bought plants are small but I think when they’ve grown I might have to dig another border.... eek

Gonna try not to buy any more this year as I have seeds to sow too.

Gardening isn’t just plants though.... *thinks* obelisk, trellis, fence paint etc. etc.

I always wear gloves when gardening, doesn't matter what work I'm doing. Correction:- I don't wear them when picking beans - but do wear them when picking things such as courgettes and tomatoes as my skin is allergic to their leaves.

Most of my work used to be done with cotton gloves as they are nice and thin but last year I found some leather gloves that are almost as thin as cotton and very flexible. One of the best buys I made in years. :blue thumb:

I bought a plant pot advertised locally. It's an exact match to one that have owned for over 10 years. What are the chances of that?

I mentioned the same thing earlier. I bought two trowels from Wilko so that I'll have one to use until I find the other one.

If all garden hand tools come with bright Yellow handles, that would help find them. I think as you get older you get more forgetful.

I had one with a bright yellow handle I bought from Wilko for £1 at the end of the year before last..dunno what happened to it!

I have a theory, I usually weed using a big plastic bucket and being tidy, if I stop for any reason. I put the trowel in the bucket. I guess on occasions they've sunk to the bottom and have ended up in the green bin with the weeds.

Yellow Fluorescent paint may be the answer.
