Is it true that Bulgaria is the most beautiful country in Europe (but of course I have heard it from a Bulgarian...)?

I have viewed quite a lot of these pictures Angelina. They are very unique and so different to the places I know in the Western end of Europe. It looks as though time has stood still and there is much peace and space. It looks very cold in Winter but strangely warm in Summer - maybe warmer than for us in UK?
And your Garden 2012 photos are breathtaking. Are these all from your own garden? I love your extensive range of flora and fauna,

Got 2 of these these today - Echinacea Green Jewel, a stunning plant.

4 quid each, you wont get seeds from these, but they can be divided.

Jenny, seasonal weather variations can be quite harsh, both in terms of frost and summer heat. But the nature is beautiful and the land is rich and benign: great mountains, a sea border and lots of fine drinkable quality water. I will not elaborate further.
All pics in my signature come from my garden, yes.
Thank you for your kind words! :imphrt: I'm still experimenting and building a base of plants, but the garden is far from being accomplished 'as a whole'.

Intel, I love that green Echinacea, never seen one like this! :dbgrtmb:

And your nickname sounds like a hardware component, which is quite resourceful. ;)

                  IWOOT !!

I have a Cyathea medullaris, but that's not hardy, and an Australis would presumably be hardy.

Al, I`m ever so jealous , where did ou get them , they are really rare and expencive to get , unless they have been grown in europe.
About the hardiness , they are hardy to -10 after they reach 3 feet , I was just talking about with a specialist , at that size -4/5c and they are doomed , remember with fern tree size matter :blue thumb:.
ps I will pest you for some spores.

Hi sal, up the road from my shop there is a shop which sells everything from batteries to paint to light bulbs to electrical flex to food. Occasionally, they have some decent plants in, and this time, a few cyathea Australia's. last time they had some acers in which I bought at a bargain price too.

Look at those in the picture , really rare as New Zeland has restricted the import of them ......£95 per foot.
