If I won the lottery I would have a greenhouse big enough to grow "crops" of houseplants. Probably only three or four types, but a hundred or so of each, so than when they were in flower I could deck-the-halls (whilst spending a truck-load of money on the greenhouse I spend shed-loads on my imaginary pad!!).

Imagine 100 Stephanotis all round the house ...

I like the chairs Nick, but I think you're going to need cushions or you'll have a grid imprint on your backside. :heehee:

Popped into my local nursery for some compost and left with these.............

              "Jollies Nantes"
              DSC_2039.jpg

I only bought it as I liked the veining on the petals (and it was £1.25).

It's a good little nursery for annuals, and I buy a few Fuchsia from him every year. I was looking for F.magelenica "David", but he had decided not to stock it this year. I made a joke about him letting me down, paid for my compost and the Fuchsia and left. As I was driving out he came running along with this............

              DSC_2042a.jpg

It was one that he had left over from last year that had been potted on. Got a nice woody stem and teeming with new growth. I then asked how much, and he said "on the house". We ended up agreeing on the £1.25 that they charge for the other Fuchsia.

The Clematis armandii in the local garden centre have finally finished flowering ... so no one will buy them now ... so the discount rack was full of them and I was impressive with myself holding myself back ... I only bought two :) A bog-standard C. armandii, and the other is a "snow something or other" - dark outside, I'll check the label tomorrow.

I am planning to use them in some sort of arch in the Jungle garden
