3 Hyacinths in a pot for £1 @ Morrisons. I love their fragrance in the house when they're in bloom, and then they'll be planted out in my front garden for next year.

Meant to mention it at the start of last week as my local branch has 50% off too, also all [this season] seeds at 50% off (only T&M on show though, for some reason; they normally have Suttons and Unwins Growsure range too)

I bought some shrubs too :)

I bought some of the T&M seeds at 50% off at Wyevale yesterday after I saw your post, Kristen :dbgrtmb: :-

Sugarsnap peas (Note to self: do not sow amongst sweet peas this year! )
      Comfrey :hapydancsmil:
      Pepper "Chili Numex Twilight"
      Carrot: "Purple Haze"
      Carrot: "Rainbow"
and the one I really, really couldn't resist: Tomatoberry! :heehee:

Really looking forward to seeing how the different coloured carrots turn out!

Beware that the ones grown from seed will self-seed. But if you "harvest" them when they are in full leaf, before they flower, that should not be a problem.

Worth keeping an eye open to scrounge some of the (sterile) Bocking-14 variety if you get the chance - most allotments have someone or other growing that variety :) and they are easy to propagate from bits of roots

I had to have a rummage through the packets to find one that was not growing too vigorously though.............

Not plants, but the other day I bought two Aztec Plant Pots (biggish size) for 99p each, even though they were marked £4.99! From Poundstretcher :)

I know incarvillea is often called the hardy Gloxinia, but the picture on the front looks more like Mirabilis to me.

I must admit its a long time since I saw an Incarvillea root.
But it still looks possibly a Mirabilis to me.

Incarvillea has a tap root doesn't it? I saw "Gloxinea" on the front, turned it over and read the blurb then opened the box to look inside. Most of them were growing like mad and it took me ages to find one with just the first signs of growth. I'll start it off in a pot and if it's Mirabilis that's t'other half happy for 99p:cool:

Must look properly in future :roflol:
