      Hehe, like everyone's trip when they go to ikea! Mrs al wanted a new rug for the boys playroom, came out with a lot more than that! Bought Henry a mirror for his bedroom as he wanted one so he could see himself after he brushed his hair. Got it home in between the folds of the rug and it had cracked! Not even out the packaging and its in the bin!

        3KG Yellow Daffs @ £5.98
        2x Allium ( 8x 'purple sensation' 8x 'bulgaricum') @2 packs for £5.00
        2x Minature Narcisii (12x 'Jetfire' 12x 'Tresamble') @ 2 packs for £5.00

        Total spend = £52.74 (no other discounts :help: )

        Today's total spend £60.81, not bad considering the total spend this year has been under £100.00, and I was a little frivolous :heehee:

          I have never heard of this? Why would you put a mirror in the garden? Is it safe if the sun is on it?

          @al n ...they are a good idea to give the appearance of opening up a space,the only thing that has put me off getting one is i imagine the birds hurtling into it....but that's just me:rolleyespink::blue thumb:

              I did think of that but I think large windows can have the same effect for birds.

                I don't have any birds despite having bird feeders, baths, houses etc.....

                I have two cats; Sage is nineteen now and a bit past it (had stoats back in her day though), and Salem is ten but prefers the taste of pigeon at the moment!

                Sage is a great name! It reminds me of Sage the owl from "The Herbs" but now I'm giving my age away! Used to love that programme.

                  Yep must have been before your time then.....Sage was an owl in a children's TV programme in the late 60's and early 70's. :)
