Kristen - thanks for the info on "The Conservatory Gardener". I had never hear of it, but have just ordered one at £0.01 + £2.80 postage. You can't go wrong at that price.

I'm pleased with it. Lots of interesting gen on all sorts of plants :)

I've got carried away with a couple of Topiary books too - really impressed with them. All the ones I've had before have just been coffee-table books with a mish-mash collection of nice photos. These are really well structured with good advice on how-to but also the photos are logically arranged too. I'll dig out the titles tomorrow.

Fatsia Spiders Web, not a great deal of variegation but should be better next year.

Does that say £1.69? If so that's a right bargain!

I can't match that, but I'm rather pleased with my Anigozanthos "Gold Fever" which was reduced to seven quid from fifteen...................

                It's still loaded with blooms.....................

That's about a third of them!

                  Even better it was £1.49
There were another 2 but one of them the stem was snapping right at the base and the other was a lot smaller :)

That E Maurelii certainly is a bargain Mowgley and a good specimen, our B&Q only had Basjoos reduced from £10 to£5.

I bought this on impulse a while back, not sure it was the right thing to do, bearing in mind the conditions it appears to need, but I'll see how it goes next summer hopefully.
