I think that conversation was just after you joined GC @fairygirl. :)

Hmm, difficult to narrow that down. I don't think it was Strathpeffer?

I got curious @Sheal - and I've found it. Roe Deer Cottage at Ornum House - just a few miles south west of Beauly itself. :)

Ah yes, I know the area @fairygirl. :) I don't actually live in Beauly but it's the closest town. I tried to pm (conversation) you earlier about it but was told I couldn't for some reason.

Thanks @DiggersJo. :) I sit on the back doorstep at times listening to the birds and looking across there, something I never tire of.

Just seen your post @Sheal - I was sound asleep when you did it!
I wonder why it didn't work? I read on another thread that some people were having probs. with the site, so perhaps it was just something as simple as that.

I think your view is lovely too. We often don't appreciate what's on our own doorstep, so it's good to just have a few minutes to listen to the silence - if it's possible. It's the reason I love being on our hills. The odd raven, the cuckoos at this time of year, a sheep or five... and peace

It may be difficult or impossible to buy 3 ft tall weigelia through the post due to the fact they do not travel well. Rather brittle stems which could snap during transport. Very costly packaging and postal cost.
I would suggest buying from a plant shop of some kind where you can see whatyou are buying and choose exactly what you want.
