@clueless1 , Heelys is what they were wearing . They have been around for about 10 years.
I was absolutely fascinated when I saw a young brother and sister glide effortlessly past me in a shopping centre ! :blue thumb:

When someone sends you this poem! :old:

A fart is a pleasant thing,
              It gives the belly ease,
It warms the bed in winter,
              And suffocates the fleas.

              A fart can be quiet,
              A fart can be loud,
              Some leave a powerful,
              Poisonous cloud

              A fart can be short,
Or a fart can be long,
              Some farts have been known
              To sound like a song......

              A fart can create
              A most curious medley,
              A fart can be harmless,
              Or silent, and deadly.

              A fart might not smell,
              While others are vile,
              A fart may pass quickly,
              Or linger a while......

              A fart can occur
              in a number of places,
              And leave everyone there,
With strange looks on their faces .

              From wide-open prairie,
              To a small elevator,
A fart will find all of
              Us sooner or later.

              But farts are all bad,
              Is simply not true-
              We must never forget.........
              old farts like you!

That looks fairly posh but you should have kept the rust off. :nonofinger:

We had one of those tin baths and it used to hang on a nail in the garden. It was brought indoors once a week and put in front of the fire for the family bath night.

We then became posher and dad fitted a bath in an alcove in the kitchen (with a curtain round it) and fixed an ultra modern Ascot over it (none of these silly Health and Safety rules about getting a man in to fix it :heehee:)

We had two of those Shiney, one in the kitchen and like yourself another eventually for a small bathroom my dad built. We called them geysers - Geezer. :) We eventually got an inside toilet too but no flushing, it was emptied into a freshly dug hole in the vegetable plot on a regular basis. It was heaven after the outside toilet which faced east and had a six inch gap at the top and bottom of the door.:biggrin:

We found out in October that my wife had cancer. But 3 days before Christmas we got the best present that you could have wished for,she had had a scan 10 days before and we where told that there was no sign of any tummers, the treatment was working:hapydancsmil::hapydancsmil::hapydancsmil::hapydancsmil::hapydancsmil:
