    They seem to have tried all sorts of different versions of setting the scrum with different wording from the refs which appear to have made not a blind bit of difference! Agree that if and it's seems a big if these days you get a flowing game then it is still great to watch. The change to the rules re not being able to kick straight into touch inside the 22 did a great deal of good to improve the flow but that has been offset by as you put it very accurately, the pfaffing about. I wonder how much of the 80 minutes is spent actually playing the game and as for the TMOs, I wonder sometimes why there they even bother with a referee. That said I have a lot of time for Nigel Owen. I think I heard him moaning at the players yesterday about the pantomime over the scrums. With improvements to the pitches, lighter footwear and ball it should be a much better game to watch, I for 1 don't find it so but them probably just being a old grump......bring back Gareth Edwards, JPR Williams and the like!

      Yes Wigan play Saint Helens every good Friday . If we can learn how to catch a rugby ball this week , it should be a good game :blue thumb:
