    Dave ,"Come on down!" Once you are passed the M6 it's not too bad!and pretty much central to your friends. There are camp sites all around us and the area is a hot spot for vans,and of course local for that "tweak" :D ....And our kettle is always on the boil ;)

    speaking of snow, here in taunton its been absolubtly tipping it down in the last 3 days, anyone else in the southwest been having snow on and off? [​IMG]

    snowed here today as I was on the M9 from Edinburgh -= lovely!
    Here's a sno pic from last year, when I had a garden with plants in, not just what looks like a building site!

    It's even been snowing down here lately, nightmare, I've been laying paving since before Christmas & wanna get the job finished. :(
    Harshest winter in twenty years but still not enough snow to ski on the downs! :mad:

    We had an afternoon and evenings' worth of proper snow this week, but it was nearly all gone by lunchtime next day.
    It's been a really odd winter here, three periods of a few days with temps down to -12c, and then quite a few days when I've not needed a jacket!
    Just read the bits about blogs. You don't need IT expertise, Fran, there are sites like the one here

    well at least it's stopped in the southwest for now, i wouldn't call it the harshest winter but then again i'm only 16! but it can only get better can't it

    Snow ... what snow ... none here this winter well one morning for three hours then gone. :(

    Plenty of snow here this morning. 6 inches level snow on hard surface but it's now stopped for the moment.

    Our glasshouse got up to 78f (nice and sunny)and had to vent, although cold weather is coming again. [​IMG] :(
