My favourite perfume was Yardleys Freesia, then they stopped making it and I have never managed to find anything that I like as much. :dunno: also the smell of my little Bichon dog, he just smells so 'doggy'!!:wub2:

For favourite smells (as opposed to smellies), it would have to be fresh coffee, petrol, fresh bread, bacon, tablet (mainly coz its such a rarity now I live down here), roasting hot brake components (I dearly miss watching the SRAC Rallies), freshly cut grass, wood/sawdust and even that 'hot wood' smell that you get when wood scorches with a power saw or something, smoke, the smell off a paraffin heater and the smell of a good chip shop.

I have grown liquorice Basil, and that smells wonderful as well. :wow:

I must be an exception to the rule. Over the last five years and age creeping on I've got to the point where I've stopped wearing perfume, I just can't bear the smell anymore. If I pass anyone in a shop wearing strong perfume it tends to make me sneeze. The toiletries I use now are unperfumed. Before this though, I preferred the more flowery perfumes like L'air du Temps.

I love the smell of the ginger/mint leaves my son-in-law has growing and always crush a few when I visit. :)
