Hmmm... that could be interesting :rolleyespink:. Forgot to mention... I can't pass a bottle of dettol without taking off the lid and having a sniff (I think there is something wrong with me!).

Well, if you're talking about smells that don't emanate from perfumes there are loads of them I like.

The usual outdoor ones such as roses, honeysuckle and most of the scented plants (except mock orange). The lovely smell of autumn leaves, mown grass and freshly dug soil.
Then there's the innumerable smells of cooking foods such as bread, coffee (although I don't drink it), roast dinners and all the tasty meals made with herbs and spices.

I'm not so enamoured of boiling cabbage :hate-shocked: and really dislike the smell of an excess of sugar such as you get in sweet/chocolate shops or the smell of boiling sugar.

No problem with that, Jenny, :blue thumb: I'll have the extractor fans going. So our date is still on! :dancy:

It's when there's an excess of the aroma.

Ah, now I remember wearing Old Spice for Women in the 60s in the States ... so light and fresh and, of course, slightly spicy! Must have a search for it!

Edit: I will add something I was reminded of on another thread, that being Enigma by Alexandra de Markoff, but I think it's a big heady for me now.
