That's not fair of Homebase, water-garden. Surely they can be done under trade description or something. Off base a little, if you notice a well known brand of make-up advertising their mascara now have to put, albeit in little letters at the bottom of the screen, that their model is wearing lash inserts. Same thing.

Well I've ordered it now, so keep your fingers crossed please. Kathy3 has never had a problem with hers falling over or anything & I believe that. Mine will be in a little corner, in a little garden, that although it gets wind (excuse me, buuurrrpp:) ) is pretty sheltered. The solar panel will be fixed to the top of the fence to get the sun as much as possible.

I will let you know & post a pic when its all in place, about 2 months at our rate of working!

    cheers

They may not have done it at your local homebase, but as i mentioned they may point out, running it via a "wall wart" is an option, and they opted to take it

Hi all, we received our little feature today, yay! Unfortunately it was cloudy all day, lol. Still, haven't finished the corner yet but hope to do this week. It said in the booklet that there is something you can buy to use on mains electric for occassional indoor use.

Was packed really well too. Fingers crossed to gets sunny by the weekend:)

    cheers

ydd, right. Rain, 2 mins of sun, rain, rain, 2 mins of sun.

Haven't put it up yet cos we need this corner finished - honestly you'd think we were doing something for Kew the time it's taking us:D It's just that we can only do a little bit (like 5 minutes) at a time so what with the rain as well....

anyway went get some more of the white stones today & hubby says I'll get some of the gravel for the other part (well he keeps calling it slate - I wish:D), when i met up with him I said ' you do know that's a differenct colour to what we've got in the rest of the garden don't you?', doesn't matter does it he said....ooohhh, help. I couldn't be bothered to argue!.

So, decided we need a couple more bags - first thing tomorrow - then it's just plastic, stones and we're there:thumb: Don't worry first available picture it will be on here:D.

    cheers

Well fingers crossed - today I get it out:eek::D

Going to try it today, so far it's sunny. A couple of tweaks to the corner and waiting for climbers to grow to go up the trellis, & it's finished.

I hope it all works. We do like the stones etc so far, so let's hope this works.

Will post pics on sat or sun, when i'm on the 'big' pc.

    cheers all

Well it works:thumb:Will post some pics tomorrow. We are very pleased with it. Although the noise of the water is not very loud, especially when the bin lorries are going up the street:rolleyes:, it is lovely.

After another(!) trip for stones we are now finished except for the pebbles in the bottom to hide the pump.

    cheers
