Hope the weather is lovely enough and I hasten to add sunny enough for you Sandra to take a picture of your little corner, so we all can see what you have been upto!

If the water feature looks half as good as Kathy's and works just as well then I think most of us will want one too! ;)Hel.xxx.

Right, at last i think i've sorted PB so the pics aren't too large. Here we go, the cascade in action!!!
Before you all laugh:D just remember this is a little thing, so don't take the mickey ok?

We think it's great. And while you're at it, you can admire the little corner (posting in beginners gardenning project - I think that's the right place):o Here goes......

Flipping heck that took ages, probably chucked out of here now:mad:. Anyway, excuse the horrible rock thing in the bottom bowl, it was used to straighten out the tube till we get proper pebbles.

    cheers

    fence is nice

perhaps you could try a can of blue spray paint for that flower pot?

you could also bury the solar panel cable under the gravel

Sandra my goodness you do keep us waiting before you post a picture don't you girl, but I for one think it's been worth the wait.

You truly have done an outstanding job in your little corner the blue and white combi looks amazing and I can't wait to see your next project.

Well done to both you and the lovely Ray!;)

I had to look twice at the stone in the bottom pot as I first thought it was something else, maybe a little pressie from the lovely Joyce!

Moving swiftly on you know what would look lovely in that lower pot some of those gem pebbles that you can get from Morrisons in those plastic string bags I think they are a couple of quid sometimes you can even get them on a BOGOF offer, that way when the sun is shinning and your little water-feature is in full flow the sun will catch the gems as the water falls on them.Hel.xxx.

:oThank you all. We are pleased with it.

water-garden - the solar panel is moved now, and the lead is gone!

Helen - no it wasn't a prezzie from Joyce:D. In fact it's only this morning that she has wondered what it is & had a sniff, once the water hit her nose she left:)

Will post the garden pics today and hopefully you'll be able to see it a bit tidier.

We have actually taken the top jugs out this morning cos we are forecast for very strong winds. We don't think it would go over but better safe than sorry:rolleyes:. In fact winds are quite strong now.

    Speak soon. Thanks again.

    cheers

Regarding nothing going wrong, in hot weather the water can evaporate really quickly and some of the little pumps mustn't be run dry- I did this with an indoor [not solar] one. I was able to buy a new pump quite cheaply but it is something to be aware of.

    Thank you imp:thumb:

Liz, will keep an eye on the water level, thanks. It says that distilled or rainwater is best to use - well getting rainwater isn't a problem at the moment:D

    cheers
