What's wrong with it? Should I cancel and find somewhere else? Its all I could find at such short notice (I know, I know, should have book ages ago).

I've been to Stevenage, haven't seen it though as I spent two weeks working in an airship hangar. :)

No, Clueless, because she had to blow up the Airship with a bicycle pump....which took a bit of time and kept Sheal busy:lolpt::snork:

No Clueless, went in with the boss and out the same way! It's a long while ago but I was working at one of the forces bases there.

Armandii, you're not far from the truth, I was working in an airship hangar!

It was a brilliant job and no it was flat on the ground. I was painting a backcloth almost the size of a football pitch for the Royal Tournament held at Earls Court. I loved every minute! :)

Nothing wrong with Stevenage - apart from finding your way around it. It was one of the New Towns so is full of roundabouts and is arranged in areas. Hotels should be easy enough to find especially if you have SatNav. Houses are much more difficult.

It's about 40 minutes from us.

I'll PM you the list of accomodation that I sent the others and they're much nearer to us. I don't know whether any of them will have anything left.

                    Thanks, Bilbo :blue thumb:

Hope to see you one day :)

They've promised heavy rain today so I had better get out there immediately and continue tidying up the garden.

All the best to Shiney and all of those who will be descending on Shineyland (I'm imagining it as a kind of horticultural Woodstock :spinning::snork: ). This is for you:
