That's my last minute back up plan blown out of the water (Bliddy forum advertising! Hrumph!!!)

Unlike the male of the species, the female of the species does have other considerations other than self: *insert halo; duly polished, Sir! *

As for "down the lane" ... of course! But, being the laydee wot I expire to be: innit? I dunno: know wot I mean? ... I have experience of *that* particular establishment and clientele ... and, as I am not of the footwear fetish fraternity, do not wish to expose myself to the foibles of said locals (Unless armed with my stilettoes and suitable repartee! )

 

Oh dear, I was thinking maybe to make a day of it and stay over rather than all that travelling both ways on my own. It would have been nice to enjoy the evening meal with some of you as well but it seems all accommodation where you are staying is all booked up. Oh well never mind I shall try my best to get there again and maybe bring Amber and my rollator to sit upon when things get too much for me. hmm. perhaps not Amber as it sounds as though it is going to be very busy on Saturday. Looking forward to seeing old friends from last year but even more so old friends from further back that I have yet to meet. God bless all.

It amuses me that salsa is just the Spanish word for sauce, and as salsa dancing originates in Spanish speaking countries, that means they are effectively calling it 'sauce dancing'. Sorry, simple things amuse me.

Still can't give a definitive answer on being there (so much going on and I'm shattered! ) Mind you, I did Lincoln on a day trip on Saturday and that wasn't too horrendous so ... maybe.
