    thank you for answering...
    If I have the chance to come, which I would like (but then what I would like and what I can do are often different things), I am honestly undecided whether to do this by train or not -I will see.

    It has a lot to do with driving in narrow straight roads that I find daunting...
    PS where is the Indian restaurant?

    This is why I wanted to know more accurately about the timing...

    You don't need to go on any narrow (I can give you directions to Shineyland on wider roads).

    The Indian is in Harlow (directions on main roads all the way :blue thumb:) and a bit shorter for your drive home.

      Miraflores, there's always a seat in my horseless carriage. Jenny will be coming as well so you'll be in good company. I probably won't arrive at Shineyland until just after noon, but if you arrive after then, and you ring Shiney, I or someone else will pick you up from the Station.

      @miraflores if you could get to Bury St Edmunds or Newmarket Train Station I would be more than happy to fetch you from either of those stations if that would make your train journey shorter/easier/cheaper?( I'm sorry I don't know your location) we could then head off to Shineyland together, I'm hoping to go to the meal this year but I'm still trying to organise some cover for work. Let me know if that helps you. :)

        @Beckie76 That's a nice offer but @miraflores lives in the other direction. :)

        Anyway, I thought your OH bought some new clothes so he could come to Open Day :whistle: :heehee:

        Go on, drag him along (he can have lots of cake and Pimms :snorky:) and then you both can come to the restaurant. :thumbsup:

        Oh :doh: that's not going to work then @shiney.

        Kev is working so he cannot come, :sad: he's really busy that weekend, but that's ok I can eat his cake! :heehee:

        Ah yes the new clothes:whistle: it turns out that the Friday before Shineyland he's going on a 'works' outing.....Land Rover discovery day, I knew he was up to something :nonofinger:, in comparison to going to Shineyland the Land Rover day sounds very boring!! :heehee:

        @Beckie76 Tell him that Land Rovers don't need to be discovered. They have special showrooms just for them! :noidea:

        You can eat his curry as well. :thumbsup:

He's not asked me to drop him off yet :ccheers:, but my bargaining tool is ' yes of course I can drop you off darling but you will need to drop me to shineyland & fetch me from the restaurant because I can have pimms in the afternoon & wine in the evening, yes that's after I've been stroking the asparagus:heehee:'....I shall keep you posted! ;)

              @miraflores We have one black Ophiopogon and I can put it aside for you if you're coming along. Otherwise I can sell it fairly easily. :blue thumb:

              It's now time to start booking the tables for the Indian restaurant so I need to get the numbers.

              These are the names that I think have already indicated that they would be coming to the Indian.

              @ARMANDII
              @Jenny namaste
              @Zigs
              @Trunky
              @Beckie76

              Ones I hope may be able to make it to the Indian
              @JWK and Mrs JWK
              @Apple Blossom and Mr AB
              @fat controller
              @pete (come on pete :))
              @Anthony Rogers
              @"M" (pretty please :heehee:)
              @roders

              Everyone else, Welcome :dbgrtmb: :yes:

                shiney, I don't think that I will be there...

                WAIT

                I don't think that I will be there with the car
                BUT
                I have devised this route that should get me pretty much to where you are
                BUT
                I will not be able to carry a lot.
                You know what that mean....few plants! Anyway, yes please, put aside the ophiopogon + add me to the dinner list (whereas food is concerned.... :)

                Your going to pop in for a popadom :hapydancsmil:

                You'll need to expand on this statement as I don't quite understand it :scratch: :) If you're not driving how are you going to get here, and then home from the restaurant afterwards?
