Special Invite To Forum Members - 2017

Just having coffee before we set off.
Looking forward to meeting garden royalty once again.
We have been twice before both times it rained........this will be special .........sunshine.

I've just got home from Shineyland, thank you so much Hannah & Micheal for once again holding such a fantastic event.
It really was lovely to meet you all, so nice to put faces to names.

I can't remember the last time I laughed so much...should l mentioned the asparagus...I gave it a good stroke, but @'M' got up the corner with the long one .....I now have asparagus envy!!

@fat controller.....my bush??....Ok I will get my coat!

The tea, sandwiches & cake were as ever very delicious .

Had a good journey home, so different to the outward journey, sorry I missed you @fat controller , what with it slow through the tunnel and then the massive queue on the M11,it took me ages to get there.

But was good to see old friends again and @JWK for the first time.

Good day as usual Michael and Hannah, well done you put a lot of work in and I know there are a fair few others that help out on the day.

 

@fat controller, I'm so pleased to hear that you liked my bush!!!! , Yes of course I will get it ready for you in time for next year! .

Thank you, thank you, Michael & Hannah for orchestrating - yet again! - such a FUNtastic day Your hard work (and of all those who volunteered their time, gave sterling performances in the entertainment department and those kind souls who beavered away providing cakes - not forgetting Michael's butt(ies) ) did you all most proud.

Deep joy at meeting GC friends, both old and new! I haven't stopped smiling the whole journey home and still am!! I now have GC GC's : "Gardener's Corner Genuine Companions" a lovelier bunch you cannot hope to meet

Good to see that those arriving home have successfully made it despite the traffic conditions today

@Beckie76 - no surprises that your bush is getting a mention ... well, it was the *first* thing we saw when you entered; totally dwarfed your bonnie face and everything else! And such timing ... arriving just as we re-discovered the asparagus

I thought it was Pete's physique and manly charms which brought the crowds flocking? It was so lovely to meet you and Mrs JWK - fabulous sense of humour you both have

@Vince - great to see you once again; do, please, pass on my apologies to Carol ... she must have felt like a revolving door with my comings and goings I hope she enjoyed her time at Shineyland.

@roders - how totally delightful it was to meet you and Mrs Roders; I was charmed by you both!

@pete - I hope you've finally found your car once again and your way home Thank you for bringing such a beautiful selection of plants - I've forgotten the names of the ones I bought already But, I'll seek out your advice on them again another time.

@Zigs - thank you for keeping me company behind the bushes

@ARMANDII - so good to see you and thank you for introducing the lovely cousin - she's a hoot!

@Trunky - keep your full thrust well oiled (or you'll be down to a one hip flip )
