Good news that the @JWK s and @Trunky expect to be here.

I shall try to get Mrs Shiney to give me a list of some of the plants available just in case any of you want me to reserve them for you before they get sold. We get a crowd of buyers each year queuing up for when we open!

If you're interested in anything I could take a photo of them so you can see their size.

Just a reminder. A bit closer to the date I shall be asking for names of those who want to come to the Indian for a meal afterwards.

I'm now working on designing some vouchers for our raffle. One restaurant owner (of the Indian we go to regularly - not the one we go to on Open Day) has offered four voucher, each for £50, for his Indian, Thai and Italian restaurants. He is also going to make up a hamper with some goods from his Asian food wholesale business.

Another prize we've been given is Bob the Bear (he's the big one ). The others have been given to us to flog on ebay for the charity - except the grey one on the right which has been made specifically for Mrs Shiney.

I am certainly intending to - I have had to promise to work both days this coming weekend to stand half a chance of not working the following weekend. Worst case, I might have to do a late turn on the Saturday night or work the Sunday - so, sadly I will be attending steering wheels, so no Pims or Whiskey for me I'm afraid.

Maybe we can persuade @shiney to make us a cuppa instead?
