It was so nice to meet him, albeit briefly - such a lovely guy that I have the utmost respect for. I do hope he returns to GC at some point.

Nathan didn't stop too long so he was gone before a mug shot could have been taken.

        @ARMANDII .
I'd just like to say that I was drinking orange squash, so why I have come out all blurred is purely down to bad photography.

A few shots that Mrs Shiney and I took but we were rather busy rushing around all the time.

A couple of the young singers, who have wonderful voices. They have all performed in the West End and are from the famous Sylvia Young Theatre School

Sarah M, a professional singer, stepped in at very late notice when some performers had to drop out for family reasons. She can sing any type of song and has a glorious voice.

            P1330482.JPG

Adrienne and Malcolm who have been performing folk songs and standards for more years than they would like me to mention
            P1330485.JPG

Ukes of Hazard, ukulele band - enjoying themselves
            P1330489.JPG

Bishops Stortford Ukulele Society - also enjoying themselves
            P1330545.JPG

And, of course, our regular performers, Anwaar's Belly Dance

We have lots of helpers and Sheila was extremely cheerful (although busy concentrating on folding tickets in this shot) as you only heard the evening before Open Day that she had become a grandmother. When the raffle was drawn, by a charity, Sheila's ticket was the first to be drawn and she took Bob the Bear for her new grandchild.
            P1320144.JPG

We had close to a thousand books on the bookstall. After the weekend 400 went to a charity for their bookstall
            P1320147.JPG

We had over 500 people turn up in the 9.5 hours we were open

Parking was a bit difficult with cars parked for up to half a mile in either direction

All the tables had small flower arrangements on them

We didn't get much chance to take photos around the garden but there will be some on 'What's Looking Good'.
