Hey, when I posted the last you had the other new avatar Windy Miller. I'm not sure that I like this one so much, it's more cute than pretty, but I do like your new signature - no, I love it!

You've got an interesting lot of answers. I asked the same question some months back, and the most common answers were nostalgic memories and associations, and that there wasn't really any one favourite - it depended on what was in season at the time. Rhodies were frequently mentioned, though - but not this time....

As for me, well, I'm one of the "Don't really have one - depends on what's around at the time" brigade [IMG]

    P.S. - CAn't wait Windy M!

No, it had to be removed - no worries, and there are loads more people here now, so it's really interesting - honest!

Am also a bit fickle with each year/season bringing something new. This year it has been Anthemis E C Buxton - the creamy yellow variety which has flowered continuously since June much different to the Regal Pelargonium 'Lord Bute' which wa the star performer in last year's garden

I suppose that this is a regular question and one that interests me most.

That's a point, GW! I've always had a soft spot for Livingstone daisies for the same reason! And californian poppies, because I used to ease the caps off them when Mum and Dad weren't looking!!

hi rosa, now that's what I call neighbours! My neighbour went shopping the other week and brought me back a peg-bag! I had been keeping my pegs in a plastic tesco bag!

I love fuschias! I have a few in my garden, unfortunately, due to me being a complete novice, they are hidden in the middle of other flowers! The flowers on them are HUMUNGOUS!!! A lesson well learned for next year!

Now what Dierama is that? Mine are not flowering but some have buds. I am building up my collection...I must have 10 -12 different types. I have igneum and there are buds on one called Snowbells, I think one is Guinevere and I have forgotten all the species that are coming on.
