    I'd rather look at things that fly with the exception of flying ants. :)

        Using a long / telephoto lens will amplify camera shake and decrease depth of field. Both lead to blurring. A Monopod or Tripod helps with camera shake and a large f-stop will give greater depth of field.

        Apologies if i'm stating the bleeding obvious here.

        A cracking photo, as the subject is right in focus.

          The lens wasn't that big @Agent Orange, :) a 250mm but it could have been my Bridge camera instead. Sorry, I can't check at the moment as my pictures are currently unavailable. :doh:

          I was in the middle of hedge trimming, tripods were not an option, I just grabbed the camera. :)
