It's been very mild here in Kent today. Actually, the collared doves have been frisky for a while now :heehee:. I have penstemons and osteospermums flowering away and I haven't bothered to bring most of my tender plants inside yet; some of them are still in bloom. I just hope we get plenty of warning when we finally get a cold snap. What a difference from last year! At one point during the worst of the weather I seriously contemplated getting into bed fully clothed!

Feels spring like yes, although model data suggests a severe freeze is on its way.

it was 10C this morning and clear, really bizarre in January.

Well, this Winter has definitely differed from last Winter having remained relatively mild for so long. Mother Nature has a way of righting the balance though, which is why I think it's not over yet.:D In actual fact I would say that my bulbs in the borders are only slightly early even they've been encouraged by the mild weather. I have some Snowdrops in bloom and other not quite. I also have some large corms of Cyclamen that haven't flowered since planting nearly 4 years ago which are now flowering, and a lot of small corm Cyclamen that have self seeded and are in leaf. I think this already is an interesting year and it's going to get even more interesting.:coffee:
