    Yes, It is. wild gardens and can look great and are brilliant for the local wildlife.
    But the original question was: "what do i need to do this spring to make sure the lawn has the best care possible".

    Indeed, but it was your assertion that a certain style just looks awful that raised my eyebrow. Taking an unorthodox approach to lawn care may indeed result in something that is not a perfect bowling green lawn. But whether the result looks awful is pure opinion.

      But the post question was about the best care for lawns , which Kris has given. I don't think eyebrows need to be raised. Maybe an alternate lawn style post needs to be raised :biggrin:
