2 years ago, sadly they've not come back, nor the small nest of big bumblebees that were under the futility room.

yesterday, as I was weeding, I noticed a very pretty little bee on my Cranesbill Macorrhizum flowers. Soooo much shiny orange on its back. Looked it upon Google - think it might have been a COMMON CARDER BEE ,

                      Hi
A Guru :hate-shocked:dont know about that but I will try my best. I will pop out later to just give them a quick check over , yes Lolli the weather could be kinder but mine are on a sugar feed at the moment so they dont have to go out much for food but they will need pollen but I did get a emergency email from Bee Base to check and feed so its not looking good across the UK yet again, so many beekeepers expecting a crop of honey from oil seed rape wont be happy nor the farmers as they rely on the bees to do the polinating .

I want mine to settle in as its a new queen with adoptive daughters , so we need more of her own before I will go through each frame to check, another week plus everyone saying next week sunny and warm so I will do it then I normaly wear gloves so it will be difficult to take photos of in side but I will give it a go they should be in a good mood !!

Armandii a "sticky thread" you spoil us ......

We need more photos so get the camera out anything with a sting or not ??

You may have the 1st one of me in my beeesuit well :chicken: maybe .... you will just have to wait and see .....

                      Thanks Guys

                          They're back.:yikes:

Was sat in the bathroom last night, when I thought I heard the solar pump come on, so I ran off a bit of hot water to stop it.

                          Wrong.

The bees are nesting under the floor this time:doh: How do they get the tone to match the pump so well?
