Yes It's going to be great! I can't wait for the dahlias and tiger lilies to show through! :D

I think I want a small acer for the corner past the roses and there's a small patch needs tidying on the other side of the front door. Then the front is set up for the summer I think. [IMG]

The back garden is about 3x bigger with 3 terraces - patio, lawn/bark chips and mature shrubs. There's an apple tree hidden amongst the shrubs too! Watch this space...

In the mean time I've got 2 tomatoes and a pepper to growbag soon - the back patio is SO sunny, they'll love it! The lawn needs a bit of TLC if I can keep my housemate from sunbathing on it!! [IMG]

Looking forward to sharing it with everyone!!

I am doing a makeover of my front garden i only wish i could put pics on as it is too hard to explain it in words as there is a lot of detail.
I did put pics on a few months ago but the site seems to have changed now so i can't do it.
I am very excited on doing this project as i love being creative, it's hard work but i love to see it shaping up.

It was easier than I thought WG! Look at the section on 'How to...' and there's a walkthrough guide to setting up a photobucket account. :D

I hope you can see this, i have it on screen.

This was taken last year. The front of the garden is just soil with a few plants dotted here and there. I made this plant pot lady a few years ago but she needs renovating. I painted some red cheeks on her and lips but they have worn off, i want to get some plastic lips to stick on but not having much success, can't seem to find them anywhere. I have a stick pushed through a hole in the plant pot where her head is, but the pot keeps slipping down so she has no neck can anyone suggest what i could do? I've tried putting rocks under the plant pot but that didn't work it just slipped down again.

I have put a plant in at the top of her head now that looks like grass, i don't know what it's called but it looks like her hair. I've tried hiding her legs and cut plant pots in half length ways to wrap round them but it didn't work.
I laid gravel down under the window as it was just boring concrete.
Now that i can put pics on again i will take a photo of the garden before completion.

Last year i put some pics on of the front of the garden which i designed, so for those who haven't seem them i will try to put them on again.

Since this was taken i now have a fruit garden at the back of the trellis which i hope will bear fruit this year.
The garage at the back isn't complete yet there are always other jobs for my husband to do.
Whoops just spotting i have two of the same photo oh well will try again it is late at night anyway and I'm getting tired.

I knew I had a few Lily of the Valley in under the shrubs - counted over 30 sets of blooms!

Not going to disturb them yet. I'm going to Helston's Flora Day next week - yes, the Terry Wogan thing! Lily of the Valley is the flower of Helston, and there's a bit of a shortage for buttonholes and corsages this year, so I'm going to be popular!! [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

My dahlias are showing through!! 2 are doing better than the others, but it was a 'mixed' bag. 2 of my roses are in bud - pictures soon!

Dad gave me some seeds - gazania, cosmos and asters. They're a bit late, but the experience of growing from seed is exciting! Can't wait! :D :D
