Finally finished the front garden it was hard work, will send more views later. The centre piece was at the side of the house but it didn't look right there, so moved it to the front.

Time for an update!! Not been computer minded recently and not had loads of time to do anything but tidy the garden! :(

I planted some violas, busy lizzies and scented stocks which have all done their bit now and are about to be replaced with winter pansies and primroses. The dahlias have flowered, but 3 are really short and the best is not too much taller, but a lovely deep red colour. The roses have all flowered once and are setting themselves up to do so again. The shrubs are doing well - the euphorbia have self seeded so need to watch them! I was cursing the tiger lilies for lack of effort yesterday when I noticed that they are flowering, so I let them off! [IMG]

The seeds dad gave me have flourished into huge green things! Planted in the gaps between the other plants which actually looks a bit untidy - lesson learned! The cosmos have been blown over and would have been better in a group. Asters are just flowering but the gazanias got chomped all but one.

I will post a couple of pictures after I get off nights as I'm planning to change the annuals. [IMG]

Looks great Sarah but as you have found out you never finish a garden a garden is constantly evolving. ;)
