;);) Not just the light-fingered little old ladies, I can think of 2 little old chaps, one needs to watch out for at one of our smaller supermarkets.. They are forever doing it, sadly they have dementia, (we have a small privately run home close by the shop) but the shop staff are really brilliant with them and us locals know them anyway.. So sad this growing old lark for some..

Always amazes me that Crimewatch footage gets any callers recognising anyone ... people are clearly way more observant at facial features than I am, to be able to recognise someone from a grainy, fuzzy, photo.

So to update, Lidl deleted the CCTV so police could do nothing. Then they have taken nearly 3 months to respond to my complaint. I've had 2 stalling letters and one phone call assuring me senior management are looking into it but no resolution.

I think it's time to start threatening them with solicitors Charlie, that might make them move a bit quicker.

Also threaten to contact your local newspaper, they like getting their teeth into this sort of story. Give them a deadline of 7 days to respond- Lidl won't want any negative publicity at this time of year.
