    Paladin - do you know those ivory carvings where you get a ball within a ball within a ball. How about a nest of troughs from each stone - sort of Russian Troughs. :confused:

    [​IMG] Blimey Peter,those carvings must take weeks to make...and I've only allowed an hour each planter! :D
    Not sure how you'd make the final separation cut under the base of each planter either :confused:
    All that's left of the inner section when I've finished is dust :eek: Everywhere!! :D

    Perhaps you should sweep it up and put it on the compost heap or just into your borders- there was a thread about rock dust some weeks ago, and I note Kays are now selling it .

    Liz,I do keep it,but use it when I have a pointing job on local stone work..mixed with cement it is perfect material.
