        I think no news (of storm damage) is good news. This was taken last October when I was last there.

              First job at work this morning was to clear up the debris of a 20ft horse shelter which was completely demolished by last Saturday's storm.

              The remains of the building actually ended up some 20 or 30 yards from its original position and only stopped there because it came up against the paddock fence. :yikes:

              Luckily there were no horses in the paddock at the time.

                Thank you Strongy, I have a soft spot for Swanage Pier - it's petite and the views back to the coastline are amazing,

                          Me too, it's where I did my first sea fishing as a young lad and I can still remember my best catch on that Swanage holiday was 33 wrasse before I ran out of bait. I wanted to spend the entire week on that pier.
