Strange bird

    Ohhh i cant wait to see if we get baby robins....They are sooooooooo cute

    To bring robins in, just dig in the garden for a while - they'll soon appear!! I have to admit, they're my favourite, even though I've seen them attacking each other really viciously - definitely a fight to the death!! They're incredibly territorial for such a small bird.

    I just adore them and feel privilaged to have 3 especially seeing as we removed all the conifers and caused havoc in the garden, its frogs next, but hubby wont allow even a bucket of water for them never mind keep plugging away

    Caught this little tame Robin feeding at the garden centre to-day...I'm sure he was posing ;)

    fantastic picture! funny looking robin though, have I missed something in "strange bird" ? Looks more like an exotic humming bird - speed of the wings flapping I think.

    this winter I was confined to quarters, so I had nothing better to do, but my great joy was to get fat from butchers render it down, mix it with wild bird seed and hang it in apple tree - oh the tits and woodpeckers saved me from depression all winter!

    not that we don't have loads of berryies in the garden and also a big old hen feed hopper ful of grain. Its just that there is something about it all hanging up.
