I did enjoy the professionals dance tonight. Choreography by Oti Mabuse. Not a fan of Jason Gilkison's choreography, glad to see they are letting others have a go.

Soon as the bottom 2 was announced it was fairly obvious who would be leaving. His farewell speech made me smile. Think it was a bit of a shock for the other couple who found themselves in the dance off.

I enjoyed that show dance too@AnniD. She's a clever lass that Oti.

I don't think the right 2 couples were in the dance off but agree the right couple left. Shame as he was improving well and enjoying himself.

Halloween Special tonight. Not my favourite week but I’m hoping for some great dancing, hopefully not too gimmicky. First Argentine Tango of the series though (Sarah and Vito).

It’s on at 6:25pm so I had better start my cooking soon. Chinese something tonight.

Chinese here too @AuntyRach - 5 spice duck - and then we'll watch the recording after dinner.

I don't like all the hoo-hah about Halloween and Movie night either but Craig, in particular, is theatrical and the other judges are all show offs and it seems the producer and director like it too so everyone can play with the costumes, lighting and special effects.

For me, it's still all about the dancing.

I'm not keen on Halloween Night either.

I've only caught the very end but it was a shame about the wardrobe problem of one couple. But for that they could have been near the top of the leader board as Anton said.

            I couldn’t get passed Anton’s costume :yikes:

I enjoyed tonight, not too much cheese. Loved Pete, Montelle and Sarah in particular.

Sarah and Vito's first lift had me panicking, it looked like it went completely pear shaped. It was certainly inelegant.

Punam was being steered around by Gorka. I agreed with Anton that she should just go with the flow as it were, and channel the joy of her couples choice from a few weeks ago.

Wynne was overmarked imo. I enjoyed Pete and Jowita's Joker inspired Viennese Waltz, and also Sam and Nikita's jive (even though that went wrong as well).

Shayne and Nancy's Paso had way too much "faffing abaht". I was getting seriously annoyed .

Generally speaking I enjoyed the costumes etc. Craig and Anton made me laugh even though I had to look up who they were supposed to be (characters from "The Shining").

Giovanni and Rose's Halloween dance that I have watched many times. 3 years ago ! Time flies.

I couldn't believe it either @AuntyRach. I thought it was 2 years ago.

I thought most of last night's dances were very forgettable with no outstanding performances except that Punam is definitely not making the most of this opportunity and should go.

Surprised to see Chris in the bottom 2 and hope the voting saves him.

I did enjoy Shayne and Nancy's Paso once it got going. Good choreography again. Sarah's Argentine tango got off to a shaky looking start and wasn't very authentic in either choreography or music but she held some good lines and the other lifts were good.

I really enjoyed Sarah's Argentine Tango. I don't think it needs to be authentic on Halloween night.

Craig looked like the person who sang for Israel in the Eurovision Song Contest a few year ago. Anton was just scary, in all the wrong ways.

I enjoyed last nights show. It didn’t seem as forced or contrived as previous Halloween shows despite still having all the usual themed costumes.
