Stunted lettuce[s]

    Soooo every body has lovely lollo but no good for any other type of lettuce :cnfs:

    I have started some more little gem and romaine in seed trays in the green house so i will see how they go

    Why not try TomThumb lettuce,grows quickly and hearts up beautifuly. Little Gem being a cos lettuce seem to take much longer.I start mine in seed trays then plant out some in the garden and a few one to a three inch pot in the greenhouse.

    I`m lollo are loverly as well. one thinks its a gabbage! its thats large

    Well I've been eating lettuce now for about a week, and given a couple away, so I too have planted more out in trays they've germinated so I will be planting them out this week.
    TBH I don't know why we bother withe lettuce, as apparently their is no particular goodness in them, almost all water and about 1% nutrients LOL.
    At least the flowers are dropping off the toms, and they've got more goodness in them
