Lost all 3 of my marketmore over the last week :gaah: I presume its too late to sow any more now so I will check out a couple of garden centres and see if they have any.

Scrungee, I'm just wondering whether the plant was 'starving'. At that size mine would be in their final, large planting pots. :)

I reckon it's down to planting them in the tunnel too early, any check to their growth and they take weeks to recover and makes them even more susceptible to stem rot.

My F1 cucs got planted in the greenhouse a couple of weeks ago and almost immediately started growing up the strings, we've been picking the fruit for a few days now.

Its not good is it? I've still got the rad out there running on its own thermostat - its got to be costing me a pretty penny!

Not so good news. My 3 healthy (un-productive) cues have now been reduced to ONE, bloomin snails! Sorry to say that I have resorted to the dreaded slug pellets to protect my last remaining plant :cry3:

My cues are apparently loving the increase in temperature - they have gone radio rental! I picked a huge cue tonight (15-inch approx), and have another two well underway (one of which seems to have come out of nowhere!), with loads more starting to fatten up ready to lengthen and grow!

      Hopefully, these temps will continue.
