                    Dog absolutely loves Scallops, he goes mental for them. I get them when reduced down to 29p for 2 at Morrisons and unless we keep them separate from the other shopping he'll stick his snout straight into the bag containing them, rip them out the packaging and wolf them down.

                              Aberdeen Angus....... we are defrosting a couple of mahoosive Aberdeen Angus rump steaks for tomorrow :yummy:

                              Got a pot of my minestrone on the stove at the moment, and the homemade croutons are in the oven (garlic and herb, of course...)

                                I am actually liking this change - we fancied some poached eggs a wee while ago, and I turned out the BEST poached eggs that I have in years! The soup was stunningly good, the croutons were also fantastic (even our daughter went a bundle on them!) to the point that they are all scoffed, and I have already planned a super-duper fish and chips for Saturday (pea puréé and everything!)
