Stuff like that I have no objection to - by all means, put a traffic light or some sort of panel on the packaging that makes it clear what is in a product - even a heathen like me would find that useful.

Give me the info, give me the choice - great. Try to ram it down my throat, and you can go and practice self-fornication.

With regards to things being shoved down your throat i feel like being vegan or vegetarian really is being pushed at the mo and juicing.

I wish we were given pros and cons of everything so we can make informed decisions rather than stuff being promoted like its the best and only thing to do and there are no downsides to it at all and it will work for everyone and your an idiot if your not doing it.

Knowing the pros and cons of stuff would really help people make decision about what best suits them and their own bodies and means they can take action to either counteract the cons of their choices.

Its only because everyone eats so much processed food these days that this has arisen.

If you buy the basic foods and cook them yourself and vary the diet, the whole thing becomes pointless.

If only it were that simple. We live in different times now. When I was a kid, this was the 'normal' family setup: dad goes out to work, and it was work. You could tell it was work because dad's had big muscles. Mams stayed at home. They did work too, cleaning and cooking. Ready meals didn't really exist. There was no demand. There was a mother/wife at home that did the ultimate ready meal, in that it was just ready when it was meal time.

That setup is no longer acceptable. Now both parents (if they're even still together) must go out to work and the kids have to go to the grand parents, and be driven everywhere they go because as we all know, the world is now chock full of peados and mad axe murderers. There is no time to prepare a healthy meal now.

Kind of agree up to a point, but then the parents go to "classes", gym, the kids go to friends, a family doesn't seem to exist anymore as they all have their own agenda.

So they all eat junk food, but that is down to them, and no way should everyone pay a tax on sugar because of the way they want to live.
