        Artificial sweetners can be dangerous. They are so often included along with sugar in most products.

            In the early sixties when Nestleeyyys was called Nestuls , they brought out an instant tea called Nes-tea. Now that was about as bad a drink as you could ever get !

                      I think the caffeine in tea is the reason I like it rather than decaff, as I said before I can't taste the difference. It's the same with alcohol free beer, it just doesn't hit the spot. My boss tried to give up coffee (he was drinking far too much) and got symptoms like delirium tremens, shaking and slurred speech it was quite worrying.

                          Vending machine tea is pretty awful, it's the powdered milk as well as being luke warm that makes it a last resort.

                            Back on topic, I just googled 'sugar tax' to educate myself and it seems that it's just soft drinks and its up to the manufacturers whether to pass on the extra:

                            So your home brew sugar is not affected @Zigs
