I'm going to let Erica decide when she comes in later - Compassion, Generous Gardener, or climbing Iceberg (less partial to shade and not as floriferous but looks gorgeous).
I lost some time looking at rose videos on youtube!

        • Good afternoon
        The Generous Gardener
        • Light pink Shrub.
        • Registration name: AUSdrawn
          Exhibition name: The Generous Gardener
          Bred by David C<H, Austin(1926-2018(United Kingdom, 2002).
Introduced in United Kingdom by David Austin Roses Limited (UK) in 2002 as 'The Generous Gardener'.
          Shrub. (Series: English Rose Collection)
Light pink. Strong, musk, myrrh, old rose fragrance. 41 petals. Average diameter 2.5". Large, very full (41+ petals), in small clusters bloom form. Spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom.
Tall, arching, bushy, well-branched. Large, glossy, dark green foliage.
Can be used for cut flower, garden, landscape or shrub. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant. Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.

Thanks Woo. Erica has returned and decided on the Generous Gardener so the order has gone in :

Huge thanks to all, it seemed so simple to start but there's so many nice looking roses out there!

I were going to put some pictures on earlier of GG when you narrowed it down but didn't get round to it in time. I sure you'll not mind anyway.

It is a nice Rose GG its took it a while for it to reach the top of the pergola 7ft tall . Beautiful Flowers and the scent is really nice probably the best I have so far. It fades to white eventually , foliage is nice as well in spring
