Sorry to hear about your son Dendy - if he's on medication for seizures, it may need adjusting.

was adjusted last autumn, prob better not to do any more for a while.... He was on carbamazepine, and now levitaracetam. He seems ok at the moment, it's a constant worry nonetheless, since you're always on the tightrope of wanting to make sure he's ok, and not wanting to upset or worry him.... Anyone who can solve that one deserves a prize!! :D

As he's had cerebral palsy sine being a neo-nate, and not had fits until he was 17 ( 5 years ago) I suppose he's been pretty lucky - but it's not easy being a parent and having to stand by and support as best I can. Thanks for your comment Fran - I know you know what you're talking about.

And thanks Windy - didn't see your post, at the bottom of the first page...

The same tightrope every parent walks, except considerably more so.

I hope things settle down again - but if they don't have a chat about getting things checked out. I know how worrying it can be, like a constant anxt and difficult not to pass it on.

    Fingers crossed

Too right, Fran - fortunately it seems to be stabilising now.
Thanks everyone for your concern, and apologies Gogs for inadvertently hijacking your thread. Grovel, grovel!
