'Sunrise & Sunset Images Only Please

Lovely Redstar!

 

I can't take credit for this one. My wife woke up early one morning, leant out of the window and took a picture of a neighbouring farmhouse. We have a lot of morning mist in our region which creates some beautiful effects. No photoshop just some cropping.

I love taking (and seeing) these sunrise/sunset images and each day check the BBC weather app against the sunrise/sunset times @ http://www.timeanddate.com/sun/, compare against previous photo times, adjust dog walk times accordingly, and normally fail to get anything worthwhile.

But if I manage to get something useable, then I'll change my wallpapers, etc., until next time, as a constant reminder throughout the day(s).

I always use the horizon level indicator (or whatever it's called) when using that camera, so any distortion is due to either perspective or refuse truck damage.

I've tried adjusting things so the lamp standard is vertical, but then the angle of the horizon looks rather silly.
