Sunrises and Sunsets

Lovely photos Steve - were these taken in Cumbria or somewhere else?

 

I was up early enough this morning to see the sunrise, here it is

A sun column before sunrise.


A golden glow on the edge of the cloud before the sun peeps over.



Here she comes.



A welcome glow.



This picture the sun is casting my shadow on a field(shadow on the left) on the outside of the shadow is a golden glow around my outline it's a strange phenomena and is actually brighter than in the photo as I cycle along this glow accompanies me.

 

Thanks for clarifying which shadow is yours Nutty! I had wondered, but all becomes clear now.....!

The 'glow' may also suddenly become explainable!!!! :eek:

Sorry - the photoshop was of H.P.Lovecrafts mythical creation Cthulhu - the shadow on the right immediately reminded me of him!

 

That cow at the back always sleeps in a funny position it behaves more like a dog one morning it had its feet in the air I thought it had croaked but it rolled over and got up.:eek:
