        I have discovered that this a figwort, Scrophularia nodosum probably.[​IMG]

        A few of them have begun to flower!

            Did anyone see the Salvia on Love Your Garden this week? Can't remember the name but it had deep purple flowers on arched stems.

            I flicked through it on catch up. It's on at about 32mins and they called it "Tubular Bells" which is a totally different colour!

            Looks more like Amistad, Black Knight etc.

              what is this one in your post #324? It isn't the colour of Amistad or Black Knight is it?

              I understood LongK to mean that his picture was of Tubular Bells but the one in the program looked more like Amistad or Black Knight

                  I have just planted 2 Salvia Hot Lips which have been flowering happily for several months in pots. They seem to have given up flowering - is this normal? Also, will they get through the winter outside (in the Midlands)?
