I will try and get some shoots to grow on, Bilbo. It's a very deep purple colour and is a strong tall plant. I think it will let me take some bits in a months time;)

Thanks longk , it is planted under a tree and does seem to be doing quite well, thought you might like this and did check if there were any seed but no sign of any yet, I'll keep checking.

I'd love some Amistad and Black&Blue if anyone can spare any rooted bits.

I've got quite a nice dark Blue one (forgotten what its called, I'm thinking Oxford Blue, but I would have to check) and "patens" which I suppose you all have ... and also a red one (can't find the name in my Spreadsheet ...)

I may have other things folk would like in return?

I must must must post a WishList and HaveList for swaps

I have a spare (small) Black & Blue.

Oxford Blue is a variety of S.patens. I have seeds for the lighter Cambridge Blue if you want..............

That's kind, thanks. I'm looking for some darker blues for the Blue and White border though.

I'll get my HaveList together and hopefully there will be something on there that you would like in return for the Black & Blue :)

A nice little Salvia that is worth the effort of over-wintering.

Absolutely Keith and a bargain no Salviaphile could resist! Salvias' colours are so powerful aren't they. Really stand out.
I'm just waiting for "Blue Enigma" bloom to open, then I will line 'em up and take a group photo,
          Jenny
